Janesville Settlement (6 Mar 1919)
Evan Hatton visited the Greenwood High School Friday afternoon.
Miss Maude Miller from Omro, Wis., spent Wednesday evening at F. Hatton’s and
visited with Mrs. Ed. Keefe several days. It will be remembered that Miss Miller
taught our school about four years ago.
Anna and Sophia Waseca spent Sunday afternoon with Inez Clintsman.
The dance at F. Hatton’s Wednesday evening was a big success. There was a large
crowd present from Willard, Tioga, Eaton Center and Owega and all report a fine
time.
Mrs. Chas. Bostwick left for Janesville and Beloit Monday, where she will spend
several months visiting relatives.
Joseph Buettner and lady friend spent Sunday afternoon at S.B. Flagg’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kalkofen spent Sunday at the Pitts home in Tioga.
L. Dimeler and son, Orville, hauled hay from the Fathgather farm in Eaton Center
Saturday.
