West Shortville (13 Mar 1919)
Mrs. George Strubing and Clyde McPherson spent Friday afternoon with Andrew
Short.
Eugene Hagie and family, Wm. Ottow and family, Amos Kegley and wife, Mabel
Strubing and Clyde McPherson were with Bert Swann. All reported a good time. The
music was furnished by Eugene Hagie, Amos Kegley, Arthur and Arnold Drescher.
Ed. Hagie was seen in this vicinity Sunday.
Clyde McPherson expects to return home Wednesday.
Mable Strubing and son Leo and Clyde McPherson spent Sunday at Charles Luke’s.
Harry Snyder and family spent Saturday night and Sunday at Robt. Volz’s home.
Cleo Conlin, Myrtle Ottow and Ed. Hagie spent Sunday afternoon at John Kauth’s
home.
Jesse and Cleo Cole have been on the sick list, but are better at this writing.
Anna and Veronica Kosmoski visited at the H. Black home Sunday.
George Strubing has been hauling wood for Mr. Bue of Neillsville.
A small crowd gathered at the Wm. Ottow home Sunday night for a wiener supper.
All had an enjoyable time.
