East Pine Valley (13 Mar 1919)

Hugh Selves has been hauling poles the past few days.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Spiegel called on Mr. and Mrs. Botnen Friday evening.

Charles Thompson is baling hay the past few days.

One day last week the neighbors thought a serious fire had broken out, but when they investigated, they found it to be nothing but Marc. Hosely’s smokehouse, which had caught fire. No serious results have been reported.

Aug. Spiegel is visiting his brother, Carl, who recently returned from France.

Mrs. P. Hagen called on Mrs. Ole Botnen Sunday.

Mrs. Rose and daughter Helen and nephew Layton Meade called on Hugh Selves and family Sunday.

Herbert Haberland and Ernest Hagen called on Olaf Botnen Sunday.
