Janesville Settlement (20 Mar 1919)

Loretta, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Churkey, passed away Tuesday morning, death being caused by convulsions. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery Thursday afternoon. The family has our heartfelt sympathy in their sad trial.

Miss Hazel Boe called on Mrs. Fred Kalkofen and Mrs. C. Hatton Friday.

A. Solmernson purchased a new gasoline engine last week.

Mrs. Al. Flagg was on the sick list a couple of days last week.

Fred Kalkofen helped Fred Clintsman saw wood Thursday.

Joseph Buettner was a Loyal caller Sunday.

Mrs. J.J. Susa spent Wednesday with her mother, Mrs. R. Waseca.

Evan Hatton spent Sunday afternoon with Fred Kalkofen.

Al. Flagg spent Sunday afternoon at C. Hatton’s.

Helen Farning and Mrs. C. Hatton and son, Donald, have been on the sick list.

Anna and Sophia Waseca spent Friday with Mrs. J.J. Susa.
