The Ladies’ Aid will meet with Mrs. Salsbury Wednesday for dinner.
Corp. Ernest Vine and Fred and George Vine came back from Crandon last Thursday.
They were called there the first of the week by the serious illness of Mrs. F.J.
Vine, and it is now thought that she is slowly recovering. Mrs. Sarah Selves and
Mrs. Arlo Huckstead remained there to help care for Mrs. Vine.
Clarion Counsell bought his wife a fine new piano.
Tom Wren will start his mill soon.
Miss Estella Selves has been staying with her friend, Miss Doris Huckstead, the
past week.
Mrs. Waterpool is spending a few days in town with her daughter, Mrs. Oscar
Johnson.
Richard Selves’ friends gave him a fine surprise Monday night in honor of his
birthday.
Willie Worchel has a saw mill on his place, sawing timber and lumber for his new
barn, which he is to build in the spring.
