Levis (27 Mar 1919)

A surprise party was held at the Kolar home last week Tuesday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Kolar’s birthdays. A big crowd attended and at midnight a big supper was served. All present report the usual good time.

Mrs. C. Lueck and Mrs. Wm. Meier spent Sunday afternoon at the Shramek home.

Herman Meier sawed wood for Chas. Lueck Monday and Tuesday.

Florence Zastrow visited at Eggiman’s Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neff spent Sunday with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Hemp, of Neillsville.

Albert Meier is moving onto the Schaefer farm this week.

Mrs. Schoenwetter spent Sunday with her daughter, Mrs. E. Manthey.

Chas. Shramek sawed wood for Carl Gentleman Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hartung and daughter, Lizzie, spent Wednesday evening at the Munson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ebert spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Leverance.

The friends and neighbors of Frank Sebek and wife gave them a pleasant surprise farewell party Sunday evening, as they traded their farm for Chicago property. A large crowd attended and at 12 o’clock a bountiful supper was served and the good old time was enjoyed by all.

Oscar Ebert came home Saturday after spending a week with friends at Chili.
