Janesville Settlement (27 Mar 1919)
Robert Farning, who has just returned from France, visited his sister, Helen, at
F. Hatton’s Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowert were Globe callers Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Keefe spent Wednesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Churkey.
Mrs. D. Moorehead and son, David, were Greenwood callers Tuesday.
Misses Anna and Sophia Waseca, Helen Farning and Mrs. F Hatton spent Sunday
afternoon at C. Hatton’s.
Dr. Beckman was called out to see Mrs. Chas. Churkey Tuesday. She has been very
sick with pleurisy.
Mrs. Joseph Buettner was a Willard caller Wednesday.
Fred Halle sawed wood for Geo. Shirmer Friday.
Mrs. F. Hatton spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Chas. Churkey.
Lyle Bostwick helped Orville Dimler haul sand last week.
Mrs. Ed. Keefe spent Monday with Mrs. S.B. Flagg.
Mrs. Dillenbeck called at Clark Hatton’s Monday.
Frank Puik was a business caller on the school one day last week.
Mrs. S.B. Flagg and daughter, Marion, spent Saturday and Sunday in Owega with
her mother, Mrs. Palzer.
Joseph Buettner is sawing ties in Owega now.
