Mr. and Mrs. James Apfelbeck are the parents of a daughter born April 4 at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield.  The infant weighed six pounds eight ounces at birth and has been named Laura Lee.  She will join one brother at home.  Grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Apfelbeck and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gumz, Abbotsford.

Laurie Apfelbeck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Apfelbeck, was guest of honor at a party held Saturday, April 5, 1969, to celebrate her fifth birthday anniversary. Guests at the party held at the Apfelbeck home were Mrs. Wiersig and Donna and Debby, Mrs. Pearl Nosbisch, Danny and Cathy, Mrs. Schjoneman and Kim, and Randy Apfelbeck. Games were played and prizes awarded the winners.

Birthday cake and treats were served by the hostess after Laurie opened her gifts.
