Dorn, Lynda Sue (7 APR 1969)

Miss Lynda Sue Dorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Dorn, Abbotsford, and Heinz Richter of Barntrup, Germany, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Richter of Barntrup, Germany, were united in marriage in a double ring candlelight ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday, April 7, 1969, at the First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford, with the Rev. Charles Glidden officiating.

Attendants at the ceremony were Miss Helen Motelet of Abbotsford, and Robert Dorn, brother of the bride, also from Abbotsford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Lowell Dorn.

Ushers at the ceremony were Alan Ridderbusch and Harry Grondine Jr., both of Abbotsford. Paul Nixdorf sang "Through the Years" and the German version of "The Song of Ruth." Mrs. Eugene Strathman was the organist.

The bride was attired in a short white sheath dress with a lace over jacket and wore a pillbox hat with a short veil. She carried red roses. The bridesmaid was dressed in aqua silk with net and an aqua net veil. She also carried roses.

The mother of the bride was dressed in a yellow nylon knit suit and wore an orchid corsage of white, yellow and brown.

Dinner was served at the Flame Supper Club for relatives and friends, and a reception followed at the city hall. Guests included friend and relatives from Neillsville, Abbotsford, Colby, Marshfield, Chippewa Falls, Wausau, Rice Lake, Wisconsin Rapids, Eau Claire and Scandinavia.

The bride is a junior at River Falls State University, and the groom is employed at a photography studio in Minneapolis.

Following a short honeymoon to Milwaukee and Madison, the bride and groom are now at home at 117 W. Church Street, River Falls, Apartment 303.
