Dennis Melvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Melvin, route 1, Abbotsford, has been named valedictorian of the 1969 Abbotsford High School High School graduating class. He has maintained an academic average of 94.2 for four years. His activities included football, basketball, and baseball. He also served as student council president in his senior year. Dennis will attend either the University of Wisconsin at Madison or Wisconsin State University, Stevens Point, next fall.

Galen Nagel, son of Mrs. Helen Nagel and the late Fred Nagel, Abbotsford, has been named salutatorian of the 1969 Abbotsford High School graduating class. He maintained an academic average of 93.2 for four years. His activities included football, basketball and baseball. Gaylen will attend Wisconsin State University, River Falls, this coming school year.
