Talso, Rudy J. (5 JUN 1903 - 26 SEP 1978)

Rudy J. Talso, age 75, of R. R. #3, Greenwood, Longwood Township, died at his home of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday evening, September 26th, 1978.

Funeral services were held in his memory at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, September 30th, 1978, with Pastor Daniel Venzke officiating and burial services were conducted at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Pallbearers were Tovio, Carl, Emery Maninen, Clayton Braun, Dennis Bucheger and Arnie Holopainen. The organist was Mrs. Alvin Venzke, and the vocalist was Mrs. Marilyn Hagen.

Mr. Talso was born on June 5, 1903 in Ely, Minnesota, and moved with his parents to the Longwood area and attended school at the Poppe Grade School. He worked in Racine until 1929 and then moved back to the Longwood area to farm.

He is survived by two brothers, Elmer of Clarkston, Washington and Tovio of Waukegan, Illinois, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Talso of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
