Thielke, Kathryn “Kathi” A. (4 JUL 1946 - 30 JUL 2016)

Kathryn “Kathi” A. Thielke, age 70, of Medford, passed away on Saturday, July 30 at her residence in the City of Medford under the loving care of her family and Hope Hospice.

Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3 at Medford Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. David Clements officiating.

Kathi was born on July 4, 1946, at Medford, to Donovan Wilson and Elvera Fern (Talbot) Thielke.

She attended Medford area elementary schools, and was a 1964 graduate of Medford High School.

Kathi was married in 1967, at Medford to Jim Mildbrand. They were later divorced.

She worked as a housewife and mother for most of her life. She worked as a secretary at Northcentral Technical College for a period of time. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, animals, stamping, scrapbooking and creative writing. Kathi is a member of Community United Church of Christ, Medford and past member of the Royal Rough Riders.

She is survived by a son, James “Jim” Mildbrand, Jr. of Medford, a brother Bruce (Thressa) Thielke of Withee; nieces and nephews Barb (Dennis) Lato of Withee, Dan (Diane) Thielke of New Richmond, Bill (Michele) Thielke of Chippewa Falls, Doug (Bonnie) Thielke of Curtiss.

Kathi is predeceased by her parents, Donovan Wilson and Elvera Fern (Talbot) Thielke.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family for a future designation.
