Metz, Victoria Lynn (Wein) (30 MAY 1956 - 4 AUG 2016)
Victoria L. Metz, age 60, of Wautoma, formerly of Marshfield, passed away
unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at her residence.
Her memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St.
Alban Ministry Center, 1413 South Felker Street in Marshfield. Family and
friends are invited to gather on Friday at the Ministry Center from 4 PM until
time of services. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
Victoria Lynn Metz was born in Marshfield on May 30, 1956, the daughter of
Melvin and Doris (Haley) Wein. She attended and later graduated from Marshfield
Senior High in 1975. Victoria was united in marriage to Howard Metz, Jr. on
October 29, 1977 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. Sadly, Howard
passed away on December 5, 2010. Her employment included working at Johnson
Garment, Modern of Marshfield, St. Joseph’s Hospital as a patient transporter
and at St. Vincent DePaul all located in Marshfield.
Her hobbies included shooting pool, throwing darts and bowling with family and
friends. With gifted and patient hands, Victoria created beautiful quilts for
all to enjoy. Her greatest loves were spending time camping or traveling with
her husband Howard or maybe just hanging out with her grandson Patrick. Victoria
also enjoyed watching movies.
Survivors include her two sons: Christopher (special friend Rebecca Brockman)
Metz of Marshfield and Troy Metz of Coloma; a grandson Patrick; three siblings:
Cathy (George) Lutz of Wausau, Linda (Ronald) Rasmussen of Marshfield and
Charles Wein of Loveland, CO along with many other relatives and special
friends.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Howard.
If desired, memorials are being accepted in Victoria's name for a charity to be
determined later.
