Ward, Jenny D. "Jenn" (7 DEC 1979 – 30 JUL 2016)

Jenny D. “Jenn” Ward, 36, Eau Claire, had her life taken in a senseless act of violence on Saturday July 30, 2016, in Eau Claire. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 4, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal. Rev. Steve Brice officiated. Inurnment followed in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.

Jenny Radcliffe was born on Dec. 7, 1979, in Marshfield. She was married on Jan. 19, 2002, to Brian Ward. Jenn graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1998 and went on to get a degree from Globe University as a paralegal. She was currently employed at Lorman Education Services. Because of her love for children, she took in her nieces and nephews and many friends in an in-home daycare that she ran with her best friend, Stephani Shellenberger. When her own children were in school, Jenn worked and managed many retail stores at Oakwood Mall, including Zales, becoming the family jewelry expert. Jenn was a big-hearted, caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She always took the time to care for others and was often the life of the party. You always knew when Jenn arrived. She had many hobbies which included cooking for her family, reading, watching movies, writing, painting, and creating works of art with wood pallets in her spare time. Jenn was an active participant and volunteer at Loyal’s annual Corn Fest. She competed in the bean bag tournament and looked forward each year to bartending at the event to serve family and friends in the area. Family was very important to Jenn. You could always find her in the action, playing cards and games, singing and challenging her siblings for the charade champion title.

Jenn is survived by her husband, Brian; her daughter, Maranda Lee Ward (14); her son, Nathan Dean Ward (11); her parents, Joseph and Gayle Radcliffe of Eau Claire; her siblings: Rhonda (Andre) Stewart, Riley (Sarah) Radcliffe, and her twin sister, Jamie (Ken) Kirchoff; her in-laws, Steve and Jeanne Ward; her sister-in-law, Kristi (Mike) Primc; and her nieces and nephews: Alex and Mason Stewart, Taylor, Natalie, James and Liberty Radcliffe, Jaiden and Kelsey Kirchoff, and Calista and Ciara Primc.

Jenn was preceded in death by her grandparents: Audrey and Douglas Gould, and Zeke and Armella Radcliffe.
