Oelrich, Willard (9 OCT 1921 – 22 APR 1971)
Willard Oelrich, 49, of route 2, Spencer, died April 22, 1971, at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield.
Services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Japserson Funeral Home. The Rev.
William Ruhbusch of Trinity Lutheran Church officiated, and burial was made in
the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Melvin Oelrich, Steve Macheichok,
James Schoolman, Charles Vanderhoof, John Marx, and Wayne Schultz.
Willard Oelrich was born October 9, 1921 in Clark County and received his
education in Spencer. He was married to Mary Hasselberger on October 23, 1954,
in Marshfield. The couple live on a farm near Spencer since their marriage. For
the past 17 years he was employed at Weyerhaeuser Co. in Marshfield.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Frederick, Emily, Nancy, Michael,
Karen, and Judy Oelrich, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Oelrich,
Spencer; five sisters, Mrs. Carl Schoolman, Spencer; Miss Edna Oelrich, Spencer;
Miss Frieda Oelrich, Spencer; Mrs. Harry Macheichok, Rhinelander; and Mrs.
Clarence Johnson, rural Marshfield; and five brothers, Raymond, Marshfield; Roy,
Rhinelander; Albert, Spencer; Arthur, Unity; and Joseph, Montana.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
