Gomulka, Stella (3 November 1930 - 2 August 2016)

Stella Gomulka, 85, of Lublin, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley. She was born on November 3, 1930, to the late John and Katherine (Niec) Krawchuk. Stella grew up in the area and married Palmer on June 4, 1949, at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, Lublin. The couple lived and farmed outside of Lublin since.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mitzie Shewczyk and many nieces and nephews.

Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Palmer (2004); her parents; her sisters: Julie Rusnak, Ann Schuman, Eva Lindbergh, Olga Munson, Helen Ziemba, Pauline Lencz and Rosie Krawchuk; and brothers: Nick and Harry Shewczyk.

A memorial service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, Lublin with inurnment in the church cemetery. There was no visitation, but fellowship after the service.
