College Notes (High Honors - 2016)
Amber Bochte has been named to the 2016 Lawrence University Dean’s list for
maintaining a 3.4 grade-point average (GPA) or higher for the full 2015-16
academic year. She is the daughter of Judith Trunkel, Neillsville, and a 2008
graduate of Neillsville High School.
The following Neillsville students received the Chancellor’s Award (GPA 3.5 or
above) from the University of Wisconsin-Stout (Menomonie) for the spring 2016
semester: Aaron Aumann, BS applied mathematics and computer science, BS game
design and development; Jade Gross, BS vocational rehabilitation; Jordan
Jacobsen, special education.
Danijela Decker of Colby graduated magna Cum Laude in March 2016 from Upper Iowa
University. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in health services
administration.
The following area students were among the University of Wisconsin 2016 spring
graduates:
Neillsville - Sheila Opelt, Master’s degree, physician assistant;
Owen - Jeremiah Kakes, graduated with distinction, receiving a Bachelor of
Science degree in biology and psychology; Kylie Shakal, master’s degree, social
work.
