York graduates of the Loyal High School Thursday evening were Larry E. Falconer,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer, Ted Zvolena, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zvolena,
and Wayne Radue, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Radue.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Benedict and daughter Melody Ann of Stevens Point spent the
weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Puscheck of Chili visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Kronberger.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer entertained a group of relatives and friends
following graduation Thursday evening in honor of their son, Larry, who was
among the graduates of the Loyal High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict and Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Benedict visited Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Benedict and family at Lomira, and Mr. and Mrs. David
Pinkerton and family at Oshkosh.
Several men of the York Center United Methodist Church met for several eveings
and built a new fence on the north side of the cemetery, and also installed a
new gate to replace the one broken by the slow plow last winter.
Mrs. Elmer Falconer of Rockford, Illinois spent several days with her son and
wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer. She came to attend the graduation of her
grandson, Larry Falconer.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Algene Schmidtke and family visited over the weekend with Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey Spangler and family at Webster City, Iowa.
Jesse Zvolena, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zvolena, graduated last Sunday from River
Falls University. He received the Distinguished Senior Award in Ag Education. A
plaque in his honor will be place in the University. Jesse has accepted a
contract to teach at Verona.
Miss Elaine Falconer of Madison came Thursday to attend the graduation of her
brother Larry. She remained over the holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Falconer.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mechelke visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Mechelke,
at Tony, Wisconsin.
