Robert Bertz and his sister, Mrs. Ed Bogdonovich spent Saturday in Madison
visiting with Rueben Bertz, who is a surgical patient at University Hospital
there. For anyone wishing to send him cards, his room number is 609E.
Mrs. Ivern (Colleen) Kraeger and children, Cudahy, were Memorial weekend guests
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bertz.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wolfe entertained Thursday, May 27 in honor of the
graduation of their daughter, Pam. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Jeske, Fall
Creek, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Suckow, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Winkler, Keven and Daren,
Unity; Mrs. Margaret Foelsch, Mrs. Eva Wolfe, Mrs. Fay McNeely, Spencer; Mr. and
Mrs. David Bertz, Dennis, Garth, Joe, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. John Fina, Mr.
and Mrs. Ed Domine and Tracy, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Langfeldt, Jeff, Julia, John,
Jeannie, Mrs. Margaret Wolfe and Richard Wolfe, Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner and daughters, Cindy and Susan returned from a three
day trip to Blair, Nebraska, where they attended the graduation of their son
Richard, from Dana College. On their return trip they were overnight guests of
Rev. and Mrs. John Langholz of Sheldon, Iowa, former Lutheran pastor at Loyal.
Recent visitors at the Mrs. Blanche Schmidt home were Mrs. Howard Olsen, Owen,
Mrs. Richard Braun and children, Greenwood; Mrs. Loren Vernig and three children
of Granton.
Guests of Mrs. Elva Lewis on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lewis, Mrs. Martha
Sternitzky, Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Catlin, Plainfield, Illinois.
Mrs. Robert Green, Milwaukee, spent the Memorial Day weekend visiting at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Greene. During this time both Mr. Greenes went
fishing at Mud Lake, where Robert landed a 12 pound, 34 inch Muskie.
Mrs. Hazel Trindal visited on Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Ernie Turnoud,
Chippewa Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog, Chili and Mr. Willard Becherer, Granton, visited at
the home of Mrs. Agnes Bender on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hastings Baird, Mrs. Elsie Ziemmendorf, Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Fahey, Stanley, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Raab.
On Thursday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Verland Dux hosted a family party in honor of
the graduation of their daughter, Katheleen, from Loyal High School.
Mr. William Tucker remains a patient at Rochester. On Sunday he was visited by
Mr. and Mrs. Vern Gardner. On their return to Loyal, they visited with former
neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kyle, now in Alma.
Mr. and Mrss. Gordon Coates, Kelly and Sharonette, Almond, and Mr. Mike Hills,
Milwaukee, were holiday guests at the home of Mrs. Alfred Hills Sr.
