Luepke, Mr./Mrs. Walter (40th – 4 JUN 1971)
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Luepke, who were married 40 years on June 4th, 1971,
celebrated their anniversary Saturday, June 5th. A 4:30 p.m. dinner was served
by a ladies aid committee at Trinity Lutheran Church Parlors to about 40 guests.
All the original attendants were present for the occasion, Mrs. William (Erna
Neumann) Beier of Milwaukee, maid of honor; Mrs. George (Dorothy Kaholka) Luepke
and Mrs. Ervin (Milda Luepke) Rindfleisch, bridesmaids; George Luepke was best
man. Mrs. Reinhold (Bernadine Griepentrog) Willner of Janesville, flower girl.
Others coming from a distance were their children and grandchildren, Mr. and
Mrs. John Kiedaisch and boys, Johnny and Jeffrey of Woodridge, Illinois, and Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Luepke Jr., Sara and David, Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Luepke wore an aqua knit dress with a gardenia corsage and Mr. Luepke had a
white boutonniere An arrangement of white roses of spider mums centered the
table.
Open house was held at the Luepke home that evening for relatives and friends.
The honored couple received many cards and gifts, and also a purse of money.
