Becker, Clarence F. (14 JUN 1902 – 3 JUN 1971)

Clarence F. Becker, 68, passed away at his home in St. Charles, Illinois, on Thursday, June 3, 1971, of a sudden heart attack.

Mr. Becker was born in Elizabeth, Illinois, on June 14, 1902, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Becker, who farmed in the Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) area for many years until the time of their death.

He was married to the former Clara Bannach of Loyal on May 29, 1928, in Harvey, Illinois, where they resided until three years ago, when they moved to St. Charles, Illinois. He had been employed by the Illinois Central Railroad until his retirement.

Funeral services were held at the Malone Funeral Parlor in Geneva and at St. Peter's Catholic Church there at 10:30 Saturday. Pallbearers were Walter, Joe, Arnie and Connie Becker, Al Rondorf and Lawrence Cowles.

Survivors include his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Gerri) Crandall, Geneva, Illinois; Mrs. Tom (Barbara) Gassick, Wheaton Illinois, and eleven grandchildren. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Chris Ryser, Marshfield, ; Mrs. Al Rondorf, Loyal, and four brothers, Joe of Marshfield, and Art, Delbert, and Walter of Loyal.

Mr. Becker was known in the Loyal area, as he and his family had often visited relatives here.
