Mrs. Harland D. Pigott, route 1, Chili, Clark Co., Wis.), the former Gwen Fensome, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fensome, Spencer, was among the candidates for a Master of Science degree in teaching at Wisconsin state University, Stevens Point, Sunday, June 6, 1971.

Her major is in primary education, with an emphasis on kindergarten.

Mrs. Pigott, who has taught in the Loyal Public Schools all of her teaching career, also is a graduate of Loyal High School and plans to teach kindergarten at Loyal again this fall.

For the past year she also served as a representative from the Stevens Point University on the Advisory Committee for Follow Through, which served the Marshfield and Pittsville school.
