Christianson, Beverly Pearl (Anderson) (23 DEC 1930 - 21 AUG 2016)
Beverly Pearl Christianson, age 85, of 316 South 3rd Street, Medford, passed
away at her residence, Sunday August 21, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday August 24, 2016 at Zion Ev.
Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, with Rev. James Babler officiating. Interment
will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Visitation will take place at 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday August 24, 2016 at
Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville.
Beverly was born on December 23, 1930, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Clarence and
Pearl (Taylor) Anderson.
She graduated from Medford High School.
Her marriage to Rodney Christianson took place on September 16, 1948. Rodney
preceded her in death October 2, 2006.
Beverly worked for the Medford CO-OP when it was at its location downtown. She
then went on to work as a secretary and book keeper for Memorial Hospital in
Medford. Upon her retirement, she helped with secretarial work for her Husband’s
Rodney carpentry business, and also H & R Block. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics,
making scrubbies and working in her yard. Beverly loved bowling, and was a part
of many leagues in town. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Stetsonville.
She is survived by her children Jeanette (J.D.) Harries of Medford, Paul of
Wausau, Mark (Gloria) and Dennis (Patti) both of Medford, and her beloved Rat
Terrier dog, Bug; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great
grandchild; and a brother Jim Anderson of Waupaca, WI.
Beverly is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Pearl (Taylor) Anderson; and
a daughter, Gail Lindahl.
The family of Beverly would like to send a sincere thank you to Hope Hospice and
Palliative Care for the care and compassion they showed to their Mother and
Grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in honor of Beverly can be given to Hope
Hospice and Palliative Care or Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
