Rendmeister, Renee Yvonne (Marriage - 22 June 1974)
Marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Renee Yvonne Rendmeister and Michael
William Statz on Saturday, June 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield,
before the Rev. Peter Leketas. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Rendmeister, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Statz, Rt. 3 Neillsville.
The bride’s traditional white gown styled with princess lines featured a white
crepe pinafore edged in ruffled lace. Her Juliet style headpiece held a
fingertip veil. She carried a cascade arrangement of roses, carnations and
stephanotis.
Bridal attendants wore gowns similar to the bride’s in shades of yellow, blue
and pink, respectively. Rhonda Darling, Neillsville, was the honor attendant,
and Miss Joan Statz Neillsville, and mrs. Cathy Hellenbrand, Middleton, were
bridesmaids. Debbie Statz of Neillsville, sister of the groom, was the
yellow-gowned flower girl. Their colonial bouquets of carnations were tinted to
match their dresses.
Jimmy Dunlap, Neillsville, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Rendmeister,
Marshfield, and Stan Hellenbrand, Middleton. Guests were seated by Randy
Rendmeister and Will Statz.
Wedding day events following the 2 p.m. nuptial mass included a 3 p.m. reception
at the hotel Charles, a 5 p.m. dinner and an evening dance.
The bride is a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and of Mid-state
Technical Institute, where she was trained as a medical assistant. Her husband
graduated from Neillsville High School and is employed by a Christie dairy plant
as a whey dryer operator.
They will live in Neillsville.
