Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Schmidtke and children of Stratford spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe.

Mrs. Henry Kurz and Kenny and Lorena visited with Grandma Tews one afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens called on Blanche Chapman on Thursday at the Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Metcalfe went to Phillips on Sunday where a baby shower was given in their honor.

Mrs. Henry Kurz and Kenny and Lorena visited at the Harvey Turville trailer home in Marshfield, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert of Rialto, California are building a home for the Turville's. The Dahnert's are aunt and uncle of Mrs. Kurz.

Mr. and Mrs. Phil Floyd of Loyal were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens.

A potluck dinner was brought and enjoyed by over 100 Farm Bureau Clark County people at the annual picnic held at Mead Dam on Sunday. Families present from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Viergutz and Jim and friend, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Pribbernow and children, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Florey and guests, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grieser, Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Hein, Cathy and Dinner, Jean and friend, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz and children, guests, Karen, Keith and Gail Turville.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudak.

David Grieser returned on Sunday from four months of National Guard training in Oklahoma. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grieser.

On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe visited with Joe Buhrow, who had just returned from surgery at the hospital, in the home where he is a resident, as well as the following ladies: Edith Kammerer, Beth Wright, Mary Johnson, and Grace Hein.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Grieser and baby of Wausau were weekend guests at his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grieser.

Former Y farmer August Oberle, now of Thorp, visited the following home on Thursday afternoon: Henry Kurz and family and Reinie Weis of Spencer.

Jimmy and Sandy Grieser, children of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grieser, are spending several weeks with their paternal grandmother in Minnesota.
