Fitzl, Kathleen Rachael (21 OCT 1944 – 24 AUG 2016)

Kathleen Rachael Fitzl, age 71, of Loyal, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, WI. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. Reverend Rob Love will officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of services.

Kathleen was born on October 21, 1944 to Emil and Marianna (Braun) Noah. She was raised and attended school in the Greenwood area graduating from Greenwood High School. Kathleen married Richard Fitzl and together they, along with their children, farmed for many years. She was employed for many years as a cook and she was fondly called "Momma Fitzl" by many of the younger waitresses. She also worked at and retired from Weather Shield in Greenwood where she also made many lasting friendships. Kathee loved and was loved by the kids she drove by van to school in Neillsville the past couple years. She also enjoyed working the election polls in the Town of Beaver the past several years.

Kathee attended Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. She had a genuine love for her family and greatly enjoyed the many sporting events, music concerts and various programs that her grandchildren were involved in. She enjoyed camping, fishing and wildlife.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Dick, of Loyal; her three children: Rick (Kris) Fitzl of Eau Claire and their children Hailey and Jordan, Becki (Dean) Bogdonovich of Greenwood and their children Luke, Kole and Maci, Brian Fitzl of Thorp, his children Robbie and Breahna and their mother Shannon Topp of Thorp. She is also survived by a great grand-daughter, Kiara.

She is further survived by her brothers and sisters; Fred (Ruth) Noah of Hawthorne, CA, Evelyn Hoffmann of Hartford, Bernelda Karlen of Greenwood, Herb (Kathi) Noah of Milwaukee, Arvilla (Bob) Blunck of Union Grove, Arlene Stark of Neillsville, Elmer (Jill) Noah of Greenwood; brothers-in-law, Milton (Fern) Fitzl of Loyal, Dennis (Joyce) Fitzl of Willard; and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Rose of Greenwood, Donna (Bill) Hammond of Loyal, Beverly (Edwin) Lloyd of Neillsville.

Kathee was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Howard (in infancy), Norman Noah and Verlan Noah.

Kathee's family would like to thank Dr. Benjamin Lawler, the staff of Palliative Care at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital and especially the staff at the House of the Dove for their excellent and compassionate care of Kathee over these past months.
