Ray Toburen, Route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was accorded first honors at Wisconsin State University, Whitewater for the second semester of the 1970-71 academic year. First Honors are awarded to students who attain a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 for their semester's work.

Ray is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Toburen and completed his junior year at Whitewater. He is majoring in Psychology.
