Mrs. Edna Tennis is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She entered
the hospital on Friday, July 30.
Tuesday visitors at the home of Mrs. Edgar Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Tyrolt, Marshfield.
Spending the weekend at the home of their father, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gurtner, were
Susan, Barbara and Jayne Gurtner from West Bend.
Mrs. Edgar Williams accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Fischer to Oshkosh on Tuesday
to visit their sister, Mrs. Lilah Lueloff, while Mrs. Lueloff is at the home of
her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Bloedow.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Safemaster have moved to their home in Unity after having
sold their farm.
On Sunday Rev. and Mrs. Robert Sutherland and family attended the Tempas family
reunion at South Wood County Park, Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mess and Kristine, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, are temporarily
staying at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ansel Messer. In the near
future they will be moving to Unity.
Mr. and Mrs. John Block and family left Tuesday for La Moure, N.D., where they
visited Mr. and Mrs. Nobert Block. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Taszarek at Edgley, N.D. They returned home Thursday.
Those attending the David Winkler, Mary Jo Peloquin wedding at Cadott on
Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Suckow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Winkler
and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Talcott, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weis, Unity area.
Visiting at the homes of Jerry Suckow and Bob Winler were Mr. and Mrs. Emmeram
Hennes, Rubicon, who attended the wedding of her son, David Winkler, and Mr. and
Mrs. Dennis Winkler, Green Bay, James Winkler, Appleton and Miss Jeanette Gruba,
Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis, son Lloyd and daughter Leanne spent the weekend camping at
Black Lake.
Mr. Al Dallman, Oshkosh, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Kueling.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Korntved spent he weekend enjoying the many sights and
activities at Wisconsin Dells.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parmer are going to be moving to Eau Claire, where he will
be teaching.
Visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Gordon Lynn, is Mrs. William horner,
Wendy, Jason and Jennifer, Milwaukee, while Mr. Horner is working in Neillsville
at the addition to the hospital.
Visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lucy Colby, from Wednesday until Sunday
were Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kempke and son Dean, Milwaukee. Arriving Friday at the
Colby home were daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ladd, Milwaukee. They
returned to their home Sunday.
A family get-together was held on Sunday at the home of Mrs. Lucy Colby. Those
present were Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kempke and Dean of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Glen
Ladd and family, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. John Peters, Neenah, Mr. and Mrs.
Merlin delo and family, Loyal, and Mrs. Gordon Lynn.
Arriving on Thursday, July 29, to spend one week at the home of their daughter
and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Palmerton, were Mr. and Mrs. George Himes and
daughter Karen, Boise, Idaho.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jost and girls drove to Sackets Lake Thursday evening to visit
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barton, Karen and Pat, from Wisconsin Rapids, who were
vacationing there.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Gahlke, Chili were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Seigrest
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Raebehl drove to Hayward on Sunday, where they visited the
History Land, then on to Rice Lake where they visited relatives and friends.
