Tippelt, Frank (15 MAR 1919 – 6 AUG 1971)

Funeral services for Frank Tippelt, 52, Spencer, who was fatally injured in an accident at Weyerhaeuser Company's particle board plant in Marshfield on Friday, August 6, 1971, were held Monday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.

The Rev. William Ruhbusch, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Melander, Tom Swenson, Donald Mueller, Robert Juzenski, Kenneth Strey and Ernest Strey Jr. The congregation sang "What a Friend We have in Jesus," and "Rock of Ages," accompanied by Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz at the organ. The VFW Mueller-Hintz Post 1867 of Marshfield conducted military gravesdie rites. The bugler was Russ Lewallen.

Frank Tippelt was born in Medford on March 15, 1919. He received his education in the Medford schools. On April 26, 1941 he married Marcella Mueller in Medford. After their marriage the couple lived in Medford until 1947, when they moved to a farm north of Spencer, and later moved into the village. He had been employed by Weyerhaeuser since 1962.

Mr. Tippelt served overseas in World War II and was commander of the Unity Legion Post for several years. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Duane, Spencer; two daughters, Mrs. William (Janice) Clouse, Rockford, Illinois, and Carol, at home; his father, Joseph Tippelt, Tomahawk; four brothers, Clarence, Phillips; Alvin, Medford, Raymond, Marshfield, and Vernon, Milwaukee; and one half-sister, Mrs. Stanley Dahl, Tomahawk.
