Schroeder, Marie (11 APR 1917)
Wednesday afternoon, April 11th, 1917, Mr. Albert Ott and Miss Marie Schroeder
were united in marriage in the home of the bride's parents, mr. and Mrs. Fred
Schroeder, in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), with Rev. H. Brandt
officiating.
Mr. George Sell of Stratford acted as groomsman, and Miss Louise Schroeder,
sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.
There were a goodly number of relatives and near fiends present, and it was a
most happy gathering. A fine dinner was served to all the guests.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ott of the town of Grant (Clark Co.)
He is an industrious and prosperous young farmer, possessed of good habits and
is honored by all who know him.
The bride was born and brought here, but has made her home a good deal of the
time, for a few years past, with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Reigel,
at Wierger. She is a fine young lady, well qualified in every way to assist in
caring for a home. She has a good disposition, good commons sense and all the
best of womanly attributes.
They begin housekeeping on the Ott farm, which the groom has purchased from his
father. We wish them success.
Among the guests present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Reigel, who have
lately moved to Radisson, Wisconsin.
