Kohlbeck, Beatrice A. (13 NOV 1906 – 1 AUG 1997)

Mrs. Beatrice A. Kohlbeck, 90, of 601 S. Cedar Ave. died at 5:30 A.m. August 1, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital Care Unite, where she was admitted July 26. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with Mrs. Helen Brinkmann as organist. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The Rev. Charles D. Stoezel will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church.

Rembs/Kundinger Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice A. "Beaty" Adams was born November 13, 1906 in the town of Greenwood in Clark County, to Roy and Emma (Salzwedel) Adams.

She married Louis L. Kohlbeck November 3, 1925 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She received her education the Greenwood schools.

Prior to her marriage, she was employed in Marshfield. After her marriage, she continued to reside in Marshfield, being a mother and housewife. She was later employed for various business in the city, including Hefko Floral Company, until retiring, continuing to live in Marshfield until the present time.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Surviving are one son, Orin J. (Carolyn) Kohlbeck of Springstead, Wis.,; her nephews, who will serve as pallbearers; three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Her husband died March 11, 1982.

She was also predeceased by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Memorial may be designated in Mrs. Kohlbeck's name to St. John's Catholic Church, or the Marshfield Medical Research and Education Foundation.
