Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo (AHTNC) July 23 – Army Private Robert A. Duda, 19, son of
Mrs. Doris E. Diercks, 409A, E. Division Street, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.),
recently completed an eight-week combat engineer course at the U.S. Army
Training Center, Engineer, Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.
During his training, he learned to perform engineering tasks in direct support
of combat units. The training included instruction in road and airfield
construction and maintenance, field fortifications and erection of fixed and
floating bridges.
Pvt. Duda's father, Donald A. Duda, lives on Route 3, Shawano, Wisconsin. His
wife, Linda, lives at 424 E. Fourth St., Owen, Wisconsin.
