Dr. R.L. Barnes of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) has been a chiropractor for 50
years, all of is spent in Greenwood and Neillsville.
He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He came to
Clark County in May of 1921 and was working in an office at Neillsville with Dr.
Farthren, and in October 1921 he started his practice in Greenwood.
The Palmer College honored all chiropractors who graduated from that school and
who have been practicing fifty years or longer. The Alumni Banquet was held at
the Alumni-Anson Meister Auditorium in Davenport on August 20.
Although Dr. R.L. Barnes was unable to attend and receive this recognition for
50 years of humanitarian service, we in Greenwood are happy he spent those years
in practice in our city. We congratulate him on this achievement.
