Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Shefchik, son Jim and Gerry, and daughter, Terry Ann,
Rhinelander, were weekend guests at the home of Mrs. John Zar(??), Sunday
visitors there were Mrs. George Sanders, Amherst and Mr. and Mrs. Terry West and
family of Stevens Point.
Joe Shefchik and friend of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Lawrence Cowles
home. Sunday visitors were Mrs. Joseph Worth and sons, Kurt and Joey of Stevens
Point.
Richard Noeldner visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner
on route 2, Loyal, Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, after which he left for
Beatrice, Nebraska to take up his new position as counselor in the Martin Luther
Home there. The Home is a school and vocational training center for mentally
retarded children and adults. Richard recently graduated from Dana College with
a degree in Sociology. He spent the summer on a youth ministry in southeastern
Nebraska.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Winslow and Dan's brother Bob of Superior spent several days
last week with her parents after attending summer school at Eau Claire State
University.
Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Kuester, Chicago, and Mrs. Tony Briski of Berwyn, Illinois,
and Mrs. Lily Kuester of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Norma Ebert home. On
Saturday all attended the funeral of Scott Rolland.
Visitors at the home of Mrs. Elva Lewis during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs.
Jerome Catlin and family, Merrill; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Catlin and Debbie,
Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Brian Catlin, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lews and
Mr. Mengel, Chili; Mr. Julius Schroeder, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Allen
Lewis, Kalli and Kim, Milwaukee; Mrs. Laura Payton and Mrs. Celia Anderegg, Mrs.
Rose Herman, Mrs. Dorothy Schubert and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Zettler, Marshfield,
and Mr. and Mrs. Wyman, Milwaukee.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler were Mr. George Bentzler Jr. and
Mr. John McCinn, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bentzler and family,
Tigerton.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bowe and Karl, Milwaukee and Neil Bowe, Madison, spent the
weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bowe. Mrs. Donald Bowe and Karl
will spend the remainder of the week at the Ben Bowe and Harold Hendrickson
homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stange and children, Milwaukee, spent from Wednesday to Monday
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neill Oestreich. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Stange and family, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stange and family, Abbotsford,
were guests of the Oestreichs.
Mrs. Pat Severson and Patricia, Spencer, were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Lulloff.
Mr. and Mrs. Leland Raab, Appleton, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fahey, Stanley, were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Raab on Saturday and Sunday.
Mrs. Eva Vogel, Wisconsin Rapids, was a caller on Monday evening at the home of
Mrs. Vera Roder.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Pachal, Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Drescher,
Neillsville, were Sunday evening guests of Mrs. Esther Pachal.
Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Michael Prior, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi,
returned there on Monday following a week spent visiting the Robert Prior home.
