Ft. Polk, Louisiana (AHTNC) August 16, 1971 – Army Private Ronald E. Netzer, 19,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Netzer, Coloma, Wisconsin, recently completed nine
weeks of advanced individual infantry training at Ft. Polk, La.
Other specialized training included small unit tactics, map reading, land mine
warfare, communications, and firing the M-16 rifle, M-50 machine gun and the 3.5
inch rocket launcher.
Pvt. Netzer’s wife, Justin, lives on route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.
