Rindt, Alice L. (Kautman) (1 OCT 1930 - 13 SEP 2016)

Alice L. Rindt, age 85, of 218 N. Franklin, Stetsonville, passed away on Tuesday, September 13 at Aspirus Care and Rehab, Medford where she had resided for the past 11 days.

Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville, with Father Michael Hayden officiating. Interment will follow at Stetsonville Catholic Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are John Rindt, Anthony Molitor, Quinn Krueger, Jesse, Andy and Nathan Friedenfels.

Active pallbearers are Calvin and Justin Friedenfels, Aron Molitor, Colton Quante, Nick, Luke and Ray Jay Rindt.

Visitation will be at 8:30 AM until time of services at 10 AM on Saturday, September 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

Alice was born on October 1, 1930 at Gays Mills, WI, to Anthony Leo and Nancy Mandy (Holmes) Kautman.

She was educated in Medford area schools. On November 22, 1952 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville, Alice married Alois V. Rindt. He preceded her in death April 17, 2008.

Prior to her marriage she worked at the Medford Pea Cannery and as a caretaker in Stanley for periods of time. After marriage, they farmed in the Town of Deer Creek for many years until retirement in 1985. In Retirement, she worked as a cleaning lady at Taylor Electric and Malibu Inn. She enjoyed bingo, traveling and spending time with her family. Alice was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville; Stetsonville American Legion Auxiliary; Catholic Order of Foresters.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Charlie) Lavin of Medford, Ralph (Peggy) Rindt of Gilman, Victoria (David) Friedenfels of Owen, James (fiance-Barb Tesch) Rindt of Athens, Roxie (Tony) Friedenfels of Owen, Thomas (DiAnn) Rindt of Stetsonville, Gregory (Julie) Rindt of Stetsonville, Labet (Al) Quante of Medford, Andrea (special friend-Todd Heier) Molitor of Medford; 29 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Alice is also predeceased by her parents, Anthony Leo and Nancy Mandy (Holmes) Kautman; siblings, Dorothy Wenzel, Mildred Jauernig, Edith Cannon; 7 step-brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville in her name.
