Medford people were sorrow stricken Thursday evening when it was learned that
the seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lang had met his death by drowning.
When leaving school, he with the little Richards boy went to the mill pond to
play on the ice.
The company had recently taken out logs and the ice was very thin. Georgie
slipped off a log and went in.
