Edblom, Cheryl Kristine (SEP 1971)
Marriage vows were exchanged between Cheryl Kristine Edblom, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Alvin Edblom, Colby, and Barry Keller, son of Clara Keller and the late
Lawrence Keller, Stetsonville.
Maid of honor was Debbie Edblom, with Karen Zimmerman, Eau Claire, as the
bridesmaid.
William Batten, Abbotsford, was best man, and Warren Skibby of Iowa was the
groomsman.
P:erry Edblom and Barbara Drexler, Marshfield, were also attendants. The flower
girls were Wendy and Carla Edblom. The ushers were Danny Zimmerman and Kenneth
Edblom.
The bride wore a floor length dress with a full skirt, long lace sleeves and a
veil of crystal and pearl headpiece to hold it in place. Her bouquet was made up
of pink roses, baby's breath with a green velvet ribbon.
The attendants wore dresses of chiffon dark blue skirt and light blue sleeves
with a high stand-up collar. Pink carnations and pink roses with pink streamers
made the bouquets. The flower girls carried pink carnations and roses also.
David Zimmerman played the organ, with Wendy Edblom singing "O Perfect Love" and
"I Found the Answer." After the ceremony a reception was held in the church
parlors with Carol Duwall singing "I'll Wal With God" and "I Ask the Lord."
The bride graduated from Colby High School and was a teacher's assistant at
Colby Junior High and upper elementary. The groom is a Medford High School
graduate and presently a farmer.
After a trip to Yellowstone National Park, the new couple will reside in
Stetsonville.
