Rinehart, Patricia (20 AUG 1966)

At St. John's Lutheran Church in withee Miss Patricia Reinhart and Norman A. Thieme were married at a two o'clock wedding on Saturday, August 20, 1966. The Rev. LeRoy Urman read the marriage vows before an altar adorned with gladiolas and roses. During the ceremony Sharon Heideman sang the "Wedding Prayer," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. John Isaacs. The congregation sang "Thine Forever God of Love."

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rinehart of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thieme of route 2, Owen.

When given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white floor length lace gown with long fitted sleeves. Her wedding bouquet was of red roses and pink carnations, with white streamers and rose buds. A bouffant veil was attached to a crown of crystal and pearls.

Miss Elores Rinehart, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Jessica Heldt, Owen, a bridesmaid. The maid of honor wore a gown of orchid color while that of the bridesmaid was of mint green. Their gowns were floor length, accented with lace at the waist and elbow length sleeves. They carried crescent shaped bouquets of carnations to march their dresses.

Little Miss Linda Marcott was the flower girl, dressed as a miniature bride and carried flowers to match those of the bride's.

Attending the groom as best man was Gee Gowery of Prairie du Sac, and groomsman was Michael Purgett of Owen. Warren Rinehart, brother of the bride, and Arnold Thierme, brother of the groom, served as ushers.

Following the wedding a reception and buffet supper were held in the Dorchester Hall honoring the newlyweds.

The bride and groom are both recent graduates of Owen-Withee High School. He is engaged in the vocation of farming, and they will make their home in a trailer on the farm of his parents.

Guests attending the wedding came from Dorchester, Marshfield, Colby, Prairie du Sac and Medford.
