Stone, Edward A. (19 MAY 1891 - 21 JUL 1966)

Edward A. Stone passed away in the hospital in Ukiah, California, July 21, 1966. He was born May 19, 1891 in Brockton, Mass., and spent most of his life in Wisconsin. He was employed by the former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) Canning Company and the Carnation Company for a number of years, and also engaged in framing north of Withee.

He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Withee IOOF Lodge No. 79.

He married Ida Mae Dickinson of Withee, who survives. They moved to Medford Oregon in 1948, where he was employed as a school bus driver and custodian. In 1959 they moved to Lucerne, California. They traveled extensively with their trailer and spent two months with relatives and friends in the Withee and Owen vicinity last year.
