Judith Mae Viken, 75, Ogema, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in the Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford.

She was born on July 19, 1941, in Cornell, Wisconsin, the daughter of Steven and Dorothy Smith. She was married to Ronald Viken in Cornell, Wisconsin, on June 30, 1962.

She had been a member of the Church of God of Cornell. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, bird feeding, and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; by five children, Lori Viken, Medford, Patricia (Cory) Knapp, Rib Lake, Alice (Thomas) Lindau, Dorchester, Duane (Kari), Dorchester, and Allen (Dixie), Dorchester; by 11 grandchildren and by 5 great grandchildren; by one brother, Robert (Darleen) Smith Sr., Cornell; and by three sisters, Willa Schick, Hawkins, Elizabeth (Timothy) Gormley, Cadott, WI, and Delores (Jack), Spooner, WI.

She is preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Jean; by one brother, Steven Smith; and by one sister, Joyce Holub.
