Michlig, Monica R. (Meyer) (17 MAR 1960 - 17 DEC 2010)
Monica R. Michlig, 50, Edgar, died peacefully, Friday, December 17, 2010 at her
home.
She was born March 17, 1960, in Wisconsin, daughter to Herbert and Beverly (Bonkoski)
Meyer. On June 12, 1982 she married Steven Michlig in Marathon. He survives.
Monica worked as a secretary for Marathon Cheese for over 31 years. Some of her
hobbies included crafts, scrapbooking, cooking and going on vacation with her
family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, willingness to help anyone in
need and her devotion to her work and especially to her family.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Michlig, Edgar, her son, Dakota Michlig,
Edgar; her parents, Herbert and Beverly Meyer, Marathon; siblings, Maxine (Jim)
Abt, Ringle, Bernie Meyer, Connie (Greg) Meyer, both of Minnesota and Leann
(Terry) Lemmer, Mosinee; mother-in-law, Mary Michlig, Edgar and many other
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Meyer and her father-in-law, Arthur
Michlig.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at St.
Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. The Rev. Barnabas Kyea will preside. Burial
will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4-8p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and
again on Tuesday from 10a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
