Mr. and Mrs. Victor Borgemoen, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jakel and Fred Prochaska went to Madison Friday, where they attended the funeral services for their uncle, Glen Hierlmeyer, age 59 years.

Dennis Boss, student at Stout University, Menomonie, and Dan Boss, student at Concordia Academy, St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Boss.

Guests at the home of Mrs. Wm. Plutte last week were her sister, Mrs. Ervin Braun, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Binhammer, Detroit, Michigan. On Friday Mrs. Plutte accompanied them to Menomonee Falls to visit her brother. She also visited at the home of her niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. John Jacobson at Milwaukee. She returned to her home Saturday, September 24.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Klemetson returned home last week from Phoenix, Arizona and California, where they visited relatives and friends for two weeks.

Sam Lien, Tucson, Arizona, who was a guest at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Lien, left for his home Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Peterson and daughter, Diane, Battle Creek, Michigan, arrived her Wednesday evening to spend a short vacation at the home of his mother, Mrs. Bertha Peterson, who accompanied them home after visiting the past month at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Novak, Cato, N.Y., and with her sister, Mrs. Emma Robertson, Toronto, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Peter and daughter left for their home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Basil Prather, Nekoosa, were Saturday and Sunday night guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Long.

Mrs. Allen Dunrow and son of Kenosha are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Klemetson.

Announcement has been received here of the death of Mrs. Gunvel Gilbertson, Columbus, Ohio, Monday, September 19. Funeral services were held Thursday. Mrs. Gilbertson had many friends around Curtiss.
