Hoffman, Stella (17 SEP 1966)
St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee, was the scene of the wedding which united
Miss Stella Hoffman and Kenneth W. Grube, Sept. 17, 1966 at 7:15 in the evening.
Rev. LeRoy Urman performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoffman of route 2, Owen
(Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Grube Sr. of
route 1, Owen.
The bride chose a white brocade gown, A-line skirt lined with white taffeta. The
empire waist was accented with a bow and a nine foot train extended from the
shoulders. Her fingertip veil was attached to a crown of lace centered with
pearls. Her colonial bouquet was arranged with red tea roses and white
carnations.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Marcella Grube, Owen, with
bridesmaids, Miss Carol Krause, Curtis, and Mrs. Gary Hoffman, Tower, Minn.
They wore identical gowns of sapphire blue designed with A-line skirt, empire
waists and a panel extending from the waists was accented with a bow. They
carried colonial bouquets with blue centers.
The flower girl was Miss Sheryl Grube, a niece of the groom, who was dressed as
a miniature bride. The ring bearer was Marvin Larsen, a nephew of the bride.
