Kegley, Edith May (26 MAR 1919)

A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kegley of Neillsville at high noon, Wednesday, March 26th, when his youngest daughter, Edith May, was united in marriage to Mr. Ralph Short. The wedding march was played by Miss Bernice Irish, pianist, and Mr. Walter Bell, violinist, by which the bridal party marched to the parlor to a beautifully decorated arch of garlands and wedding bells, under which Rev. Roberts, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, waited and read the ring ceremony, in the presence of the nearest relatives and a few intimate friends.

The bride wore a beautiful gown of white silk taffeta and crepe de chien with a veil of tulle, and carried an arm bouquet of pale pink roses. She was attended by Miss Gladys Winters, who wore a gown of blue silk taffeta. The groom was attended by Vern Kegley, brother of the bride. After the ceremony and congratulations, midst a shower of rice, the guests were seated to a sumptuous dinner. The bride and groom received many beautiful presents and will make their future home on a farm.
