Panther Creek (10 Apr 1919)
Wm. Turville was a caller at the Ranch one evening last week. He and the writer
are as yet the only members of a little organization of our own called the Rural
Knights of Cowpunchers, and when our lodge ain’t called to order we build up a
good fire and have a good old home field chat.
We oft times wonder if Roy Sischo realizes any benefit from our prayers, as that
is the way we usually pay him for the many favors he does for us.
Miss Vera Hurlburt has been quite sick for a few days and we greatly miss her
happy chatter and those favorite tunes on the piano.
