Pleasant Ridge (10 Apr 1919)

The community meeting Friday night was well attended and there is to be another in two weeks. Rev. Colman and Miss Anita Kuetchenmeister are on the entertaining and refreshment committee.

There will be an Easter program in the church on Easter Sunday. Mrs. Nellie Vine, Miss Anita Kuetchenmeister and Miss Merwin Hills are on the committee to arrange the program.

Willie Worchel raised a fine new barn Tuesday.

Arthur Vine was down from Crandon to see his mother and spent Saturday night and Sunday with his brothers, Fred and George Vine.

Mrs. Will Waterman is enjoying a visit from her brother from Canada.

Mrs. Henry Carter of Crandon spent last Wednesday night with her brother, George Vine.

Mrs. Lon Huckstead called on Mrs. Roy Stanley Sunday forenoon.

Miss Doris Huckstead spent Saturday night with Miss Lettie Vine and attended school Sunday afternoon.

Lon Huckstead has a new Ford car.

Mr. Patey was out Sunday and organized a boys’ club.
