Les Yorkston is working at the Granton Bank.
Gus. Kaiser and family were over-Sunday visitors with relatives at Eau Claire.
A.J. Peterson received a letter from his son in Germany Tuesday in which it was
stated that he had received orders that he would sail for home about the first
of May, which evidently means a considerable number of Neillsville boys will be
home about the middle of May.
Mrs. W.E. Waters of Humbird spent Tuesday here with here parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Free.
Mrs. Ferd Hrach, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Auman returned Tuesday from
Jefferson where they attended the funeral of a sister.
Ed. Klinke was here a few days this week, being on a furlough from camp at
Denver. He went to Greenwood yesterday to spend a few days.
Major C.R. Remington of Mauston inspected Co. I of the Wisconsin State Guards on
Monday evening. The local military organization passed a very good inspection.
Frank Kioh died on Tuesday at the Seidelman Hotel, having been in poor health
for several months. He was well known here, having resided in Neillsville off
and on for many years.
