East Weston – West York (17 Apr 1919)
Mrs. Chas. Runge has been quite ill. Elsie Metcalf is attending to her household
duties for her.
Mrs. C.E. Demouth returned from a two weeks’ visit in Loyal Saturday.
Lisle Armitage is very busy these days with his sawing outfit. He sharpened
fence posts for William Diercks, Otto Grosnick and Joe McKimm and sawed wood for
Jake Schaefer and Chas. Dahnert last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seif, Jr., of Neillsville were guests at the Dave Seif home
Sunday.
John Richardson, Jr., is helping his brother, Hal., with the farm work.
Ed. Begley, Jr., is building a summer kitchen. Elmer Brown is doing the work.
W.J. Armitage and wife drove to Loyal with seed corn last Wednesday.
Frank Haack has rented his farm to a Mr. Knutsen, who took possession of same
over a week ago.
Mrs. Chas. Hannah visited her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hurlburt, several days last
week.
