Shortville Center (24 Apr 1919)

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kegley spent Sunday evening at Andrew Short’s.

Gladys Winters visited with Walter Bell Sunday.

Ed. Hagie went to River Falls Tuesday where he owns part in a machine shop. Some of our young ladies are looking quite down-hearted. Never mind, girls. Ed. will come back.

Alfred Spiegel and Helya Mackeprang were buggy riding on our roads Sunday evening.

Jess Wilding gave a stereoptician lecture at Amos Kegley’s Friday night. The views and lecture were on his travels and experiences in Africa. The pictures were good and the lecture was very interesting.
